Offered is this stunning original 1966 Lincoln Continental 4-door convertible with suicide rear doors in solid #2 condition, independent front power seats, powered by a 462 4BBL V-8 engine. Only 60,577 miles. Extremely nice original pale yellow exterior with ivory top and black interior. Beautifully preserved and carefully stored to maintain original condition. Very clean, straight, and suitable for any collection to show and drive. Exterior: Extremely nice pale yellow paint still holds a deep shine. Does not need a repaint. Chrome and trim are all original and in excellent condition. Small dent in trim on top of passenger door. One small scratch in the paint on the trunk. Though there is no record of an accident, there is evidence of a very low-impact concussion on the front right quarter. There is no injury to the bumper, but there is a small push back on the front lower right quarter panel just behind the bumper. Paint is not harmed in this area. Perfectly straight. All seams meet properly and all four doors open and shut tightly and solidly. All windows work. The convertible top is in excellent condition with no tears, holes or scratches. Top mechanism has been recently serviced and is in like new condition. Top raises and lowers smoothly and quickly with no hesitation. Hydraulics are tight and do not leak. The 462 4BBL V-8 Engine is in excellent running condition. It starts strong and does not smoke at all – even on first start. No leaks. Original factory A/C blows cold. This engine has been regularly serviced and driven appropriately as a collector car. Steering is smooth and straight with no pulling to either side. Brakes firmly. Undercarriage is clean with minimal surface rust. The interior of this Continental is as luxurious as the day it left the factory. The rolled black leather seats are barely broken in and shine like saddle leather. Carpets are very clean. Some slight fading on the rear carpet hump. Steering wheel and dash are bright and fresh. Independent front power seats flank the padded center console. Door panels front and rear are also in excellent condition. Weather stripping is like new. It is clear that this car has always been garaged and properly maintained. Included are the original jack and user manual.
