1976 JAGUAR XJS V-12 RHD with His & Hers Sunroof Zero - 60 in 6.5 secs with a top speed of 157mph. This Jaguar was the 112th unit built in September 1975. It also has a his & hers moon roof that was a dealer installed option, there are only 3 known to have this option and this is one of them. It is very unusual to have a V-12 in a production car in 1976. Other V-12s were in Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Production was halted at the 120th unit and Jaguar changed over to cheaper trim pieces, all units up to that had stainless steel trim installed. This information was confirmed through the Jaguar Registry. No need to be afraid of the right hand drive. Most Americans find that shifting on the left is the hardest to master, not which side the steering wheel is on. This is an automatic transmission so everything else is that same. It will just take you three weeks to get used to walking up the right side of the car. Very James Bond. Options include: Power Steering, Brakes, Windows and Locks. AM/FM Cassette, rear window defrost, V-12 fuel injected, BorgWarner TH400 automatic transmission. Exterior color is British Racing Green with interior color Camel Tan. This is a complete running car that needs some TLC, it only has 74,097 miles. Mechanically, this car is in good condition and starts and runs strong. As mentioned, brakes will need maintenance. There is no hesitation in the transmission. Cosmetically, it is pretty nice. Seats, dash and console are all very nice. The emblem on the original wood steering wheel has been replaced, but not yet installed. That comes with the car. It can also use a good detailing, and the carpet has some spots, but otherwise an excellent driver. Limited miles added to this yearly since 2002. New Radial tires have been installed, new battery, tune up (plugs, wires), oil & fuel filter changed. Included with the car is a Jaguar Manual for this car that is very extensive and detailed on how everything works along with 3D photos and illustrations on the complete car. Sunroof does not leak. Car does have some rust on the trunk lip. No other significant rust. The paint is otherwise very nice and is an unmolested original car.
