Fully original 1959 Bentley S2 automatic with sunroof and rear window defroster. This is the last year of this body style and the first year the S2 was introduced with the 6.2L V-8 engine. Coach by P. J. Evans, Ltd. With a top speed of nearly 115 mph, this luxury sedan can run the 1/4 mile in 14.8 seconds. Not bad for a weight over 2 tons. This Bentley has been well maintained and regularly driven for the last 15 years. Extensive maintenance records are available. Black with parchment interior and extensive wood trim. Mechanically, this car is excellent - #2. This RHD saloon has not been restored. Remarkably, the paint is original. It has never been repainted nor even touched up and is still quite nice. There are some bubbles beginning to show, though no extensive rust. All chrome is excellent. All lights, lenses and glass are excellent. Rare sunroof is in good working order. Headliner is excellent. Hides show serious wear, with one 6" tear in the driver's seat. Rear seat is nice with wear primarily on the arm rests. Carpet is well-used. The dash wood trim is quite nice with the natural patina, upper dash wood trim and door trim has lost its finish but shows no damage, splitting, or cracking. Rear picnic trays are nearly as good as new as is the underdash tray. Overall interior condition is #3-#3 1/2. Electrical system is very good with no problems. Unercarriage is dirty, but presents no apparent rust. Steering, brakes and other hydraulics in excellent working order. All maintenance records available to serious parties.
